By Doyle Peeks This one happened near the home base of craneaccidents.com. The incident energized a child care facility where two of our great grandchildren attend. Our grandaughter had just minutes before the incident picked the children up for her sister to take them to her home for the evening. Bryan Smith of Bucksport, who is about 18 years old, appeared to have suffered the more severe injury, according to Hancock County Sheriff's Deputy Ken Mitchell. Smith's co-worker, William Stevenson, also of Bucksport, who Mitchell said was in his 30s, was not directly struck when the electrical current surged down the mast of the sailboat. Sir, for your information. The dutch news came with this reporting today. In a place called Cuijk, in the Netherlands a crane came down in townscenter during the installing of ballast. Two men where killed, the operator and a mechanic and one injured. Because there where a lot of witnesses, a special trauma team is set up for help. The Dutch Safety Inspection is doing an investigation. Photo |
