The numbers above is a strong message to our industry. Anyone having anything to do with cranes should take heed. It appears there is a great need for more training and safety awareness. The majority of the accidents were caused by human error. Translation: "smart people doing dumb things."

Kenneth C. Coffing of Clearwater, Fla., is seeking unspecified damages in his lawsuit, filed this week in Waco's 74th State District Court.
