| LOOK UP before Set-Up! |
| This incident was totally avoidable. The very fact that utility poles are standing in the background should have alerted the operator and ground crew to look up. Upon doing so, it should have been obvious that power lines were attached to the poles and that they were too close to the lift. ALL crane operators should make it a lifelong habit to ALWAYS look up BEFORE set-up. | Next Photo | |
